Kristen Stewart was captured on the set of her new movie Personal Shopper, riding a motor scooter through the streets of Paris.

Stewart rode the scooter down the Rue de la Paix, the famous high-fashion shopping destination in the French capital. As the actress weaved through traffic, she was carrying a number of designer shopping bags from Christian Louboutin and Cartier shops. Stewart, dressed for her windy ride, donned a heavy leather jacket and helmet.

Stewart, who recently wrapped shooting Woody Allen‘s upcoming untitled period project in New York City, arrived in France earlier this week for a quick lesson on the scooter before filming Personal Shopper. Teaching the 25-year-old actress was French motorcycle racer Phillipe Monneret.

“She took to it, picked it up, real quickly. It seems to amuse her,” Monneret told People magazine. “She’s really very athletic.”

“She’s very game,” Monneret added. “Nothing put her off.”

For Personal Shopper, Stewart is re-teaming with director Olivier Assayas, who helmed the critically-lauded Clouds of Sils Maria. In Sils Maria, Stewart played a personal assistant to Juliet Binoche‘s aging actress. Her performance in the Palme d’Or-nominated film earned her the Best Supporting Actress Cesar, making her the first American actress to win the French equivalent of an Oscar.

Stewart will once again slip into the role of someone she’s more likely to hire as the eponymous personal shopper in Assayas’ latest film. The movie will follow her character Maureen as she performs her thankless job – and in a surprise genre twist – has a psychic connection with the ghost of her deceased brother.

Personal Shopper, which also stars Lars Eidinger and Sigrid Bouaziz, will be released sometime next year.
