Kristen Stewart Is Sorry For 'Making People So Angry'
Kristen Stewart is apologizing to the world after her brief romance with 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Saunders went public last summer
Kristen Stewart, 22, already made it abundantly clear to boyfriend Robert Pattinson, 26, how sorry she is after she was caught in the amorous arms of Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Saunders last summer, and now she's asking the rest of the world to accept her apology — or shove it.
"I apologize to everyone for making them so angry," Stewart told Newsweek. "It was not my intention."
Don't go expecting Stewart to continue striving for your forgiveness, however. After the tumultuous blip in her career, she's come to believe, "It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated," she said. "But honestly, I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my sh–."
It sounds like Stewart's perspective on the matter has matured a bit since the cheating scandal broke. At the time, Stewart sequestered herself in her hotel. "It's a little annoying having to be so compartmentalized,” she told the magazine. “I go from box to box to box. Like right now, this is so crazy ’cause we’re out at a restaurant. But I’m going out a lot more now. I was starting to get closed off and self-conscious, and I’m trudging forth into the world more often.”
Stewart can next be seen as Marylou in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road, directed by Walter Salles and also starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Amy Adams, Elisabeth Moss, Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen. On the Road hits theaters in limited release on Friday, December 21, 2012.
