Kim Kardashian Engaged To Kris Humphries
Kim Kardashian, 30, is off the market, again. Kardashian’s beau, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, 26, popped the question last Wednesday, after dating the reality star for all of six months in a way that would have been hard to turn down – getting down on one knee while spelling out “will you marry me” in rose petals on her bed. Of course, he also presented her with a custom made 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.
“I didn't expect this at all,” Kardashian told People magazine. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.” She revealed how Humphries had even pre-arranged an intimate family celebration on the same evening. “Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there,” Kardashian said. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”
The duo began dating in December last year and quickly became serious. While this will be Humphries’ first marriage, it will be Kardashian’s second. She and music producer Damon Thomas married when she was 19, but it ended four years later. She went on to date singer Ray J, football stars Reggie Bush and Miles Austin and model Gabriel Aubry.
