Kidman And Urban Buy $10 Mil Apartment With 'Sky Garage'

Australian power couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have purchased a luxurious duplex penthouse apartment in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood for a cool  $10 million. Their 3,248-square foot apartment, which is in what some people are calling the “starchitecture district,” due to the high number of celebrity architects with projects in the neighborhood, features a double height great room, and two different Loggia-style terraces – one facing east, and one facing north. The building is also the first to feature a "sky garage" complete with automatic car elevator that would bring the Kidman-Urbans directly to their front door without having to worry about all that pesky underground or street parking. –ANDREW BANKIN
