Kesha Leaves Rehab, Changes Name

Kesha has ditched the "$" in her name after leaving rehab, where she sought treatment for an eating disorder.

Kesha Changes Name

Back in January, Kesha checked herself into rehab to deal with bulimia and anorexia. Now that she’s out of her in-patient treatment, Kesha wants more positivity in her life. In addition to dropping the $ from her moniker, she’s changed her Twitter handle from @keshasuxx to @KeshaRose.

On Thursday, Kesha sent out her first tweet in weeks, informing her fans that she’s working on her music and appreciates their continued support.

Though Kesha is no longer at the treatment facility for her eating disorders, she’s continuing her treatment with a therapist, reported TMZ.

In February, Kesha was due to get out of rehab, but the singer opted to continue her treatment for an additional 30 days. She also decided to cancel all of her March and April tour dates in order to focus on her health.

“I was so looking forward to performing at these dates but I need to follow my doctor's advice and get my health back on track,” Kesha said in a statement at the time. “All of your support during this time has been so amazing. I couldn’t have done this without you all. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever on the next tour."
