Katie Holmes And Suri Hit The Beach

Katie Holmes, 32, and her fashionista daughter, Suri Cruise, 5, rang in the summer the old fashioned way on Memorial Day, soaking up some rays on Malibu beach while Tom Cruise, 48, and his son, Connor, 16, attended a nearby party at producer Joel Silver's house.

Mother and daughter frolicked in the sand for a bit, both decked out in high-heeled shoes — charcoal kitten heels for mom and a pair of daintier golden sandals for Suri — before returning to the party. Holmes was more dressed-down than her pint-sized counterpart, wearing cutoff denim jeans and a black blazer over a v-neck tee, while Suri dazzled in a pink skirt as she held a matching balloon animal, a toy from the party.

This isn't the first time the dynamic duo have been noted for their style. Holmes has a fashion label, Holmes & Young, at which her stepdaughter, Isabella Cruise, 18, will hold an apprenticeship this summer, and Suri already has a wardrobe reportedly worth over $3 million.
