Kat Von D And Jesse James Split

Former Sandra Bullock hubby Jesse James, 42, and his extramarital mistress-turned-fiance Kat Von D, 29, have decided to call off the summer wedding they'd been planning since January.

"I'm no longer w Jesse," Von D, whose full name is Katherine Von Drachenberg, tweeted about the breakup, "and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that."

As much as diehard Bullock fans might like to hear dramatic details, it seems that the relationships dissolved largely due to geographical distance. "I'm so sad because I really love her," James told People. "The distance between us was just too much." James lives near Austin, Texas with his three children, Chandler, 16, Jesse Jr., 14, and Sunny, 7, while Von D resides in Los Angeles, where filming takes place for her reality show, LA Ink.

It was just last June, slightly over a year ago, that James' divorce from Bullock was finalized.
