Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Keep People Guessing

Justin Bieber, 16, and Selena Gomez, 18, may be facing a barrage of speculation about their rumored couplehood, but they were mum on the subject Tuesday night at Bieber's Never Say Never premiere.

Though the young duo, who were photographed getting snuggly and smoochy over the New Year, have never officially confirmed dating rumors, Gomez has been the target of bitter jealousy on twitter from lovelorn female fans who are plagued by "Bieber Fever."

The star-studded Never Say Never premiere in L.A. told a subtler story, as Bieber and Gomez kept their distance from each other, but both wore royal purple attire – Gomez a short, simple cocktail dress with a beaded belt, and Bieber a deep violet tuxedo jacket over a black shirt.

Also in attendance at the event were stars Miley Cyrus, Will Smith, Usher and Jane Lynch. Never Say Never hits theaters February 11. —KIMBERLY STEELE
