Justin Bieber Cited For Reckless Driving
Justin Bieber may not know how to properly handle his fancy new Fisker Karma, given to him by Usher and manager Scooter Braun on 'Ellen' in March
You might remember when Justin Bieber received a Fisker Karma for his 18th birthday on the set of Ellen DeGeneres' show, given to him by his manager, Scooter Braun, and Bieber's buddy, Usher, and you might also have wondered how responsible Bieber would turn out to be with his new rare electric toy.
Since receiving the black Fisker Karma in March, Bieber has been asked to move the vehicle for illegal parking, and now he has been cited for speeding over 100 miles per hour on the 101 freeway in the San Fernando on Friday morning, reports Us Weekly. "It was a very dangerous, chaotic situation," said witness and Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine. "I was driving 60 to 65 miles per hour. When he passed me, he was … driving in a careless, reckless fashion."
When he was pulled over, Bieber explained that he was trying to outrun paparazzi who were trailing him. Authorities would not confirm the presence of photographers, though there are reports of a second car also speeding behind Bieber's, according to E! Online!.
Zine said that the police told him there had been 10 other calls that morning to report Bieber's careless driving. This also isn't the first time Bieber has demonstrated frustration with paparazzi — he got into a confrontation with a photographer in May when he was out with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
