Jim Carrey Helps Carry Late Girlfriend Cathriona White’s Coffin At Her Funeral

Jim Carrey flew to Ireland to attend his late girlfriend Cathriona White’s funeral on Saturday.

Carrey traveled to White’s hometown of Tipperary, Ireland, and was among those who carried White’s coffin to Our Lady of Fatima Church. He was then seen helping walk the casket to the Cappawhite Cemetery where White was then buried alongside her father.

White, 30, was found dead of suspected suicide on Sept. 28. According to the L.A. County Coroner’s office, she was found along with several suicide notes as well as several various types of medication including Ambien, Percocet, Propranolol and Zofran.

Carrey issued a statement to the Hollywood Reporter saying, “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”

Carrey then tweeted a sweet picture in tribute to his late girlfriend with the comment, “Love cannot be lost.”
