Jessica Simpson has been making the morning show rounds to discuss how Weight Watchers helped her drop her pregnancy weight. While Simpson is proud of her healthy slim down, she doesn’t believe that pregnant women should be fat-shamed for gaining some pounds over the course of their nine months.

Jessica Simpson Talks Weight Loss

Promoting her morning show appearances on Twitter, Simpson has been sharing photos of herself looking fitter than ever. Prior to her Good Morning America appearance, the designer uploaded a snap of herself in a curve-hugging sleeveless black dress. On her way to chat on Live with Kelly and Michael, Simpson showed off her physique in a flower print number and bright blue pumps.

"It's a lifestyle, I have tried so many diets and I feel like with Weight Watchers it just becomes a part of who you are,” Simpson told GMA. "As a mom, I just have this confidence: I just feel so proud of what I've done and what I've accomplished — and I just do feel this need to be the best role model for my children."

Simpson On Media Fat-Shaming Pregnant Celebs

Simpson made headlines throughout both of her pregnancies due to the weight gain that came along with carrying a child. Whether it's her or another mother-to-be who’s become the subject of tabloid gossip because of their size during pregnancy, Simpson does her best to look the other way.

"I never listen to it, no matter who the press talks about when they're pregnant," Simpson told Redbook for the February issue. "It's ridiculous and unfair. I think any woman who is pregnant and creating a life is pretty much entitled to eat whatever she wants as long as she's healthy. I wasn't going to let the media take away from what was one of the happiest times in my life."

Simpson is now mom to 20-month-old daughter Maxwell and six-month-old son Ace Knute with fiancé Eric Johnson.
