Lopez debuted a chic, shorter haircut as she walked through the airport accompanied by a small entourage and surrounded by a huge flock of photographers and paparazzi. The singer and American Idol judge was walking past the check-in counters when a tattooed clown threw a handful of glitter on her head, covering her hair and shoulders. Lopez, being a professional, simply ignored the clown and kept walking, brushing excess confetti off her hair as she went.

In the video, which shows multiple angles of the incident, Lopez appears relatively calm after the confetti bomb hits her, though she doesn’t seem particularly happy. However, Lopez was willing to put any discomfort aside when a young fan approached her for a photo. Lopez appears to stop and reach for the girl’s phone to take a selfie, but is whisked away by a security guard. “They can take a thousand pictures, but I can’t take a picture with her?” she said, motioning to the paparazzi.

After Lopez disappeared through security, paparazzi went back to interview the clown, who said he confetti bombed Lopez “Cause I love J Lo.” The clown (pictured below) also claimed to be the same man who confetti bombed Khloé Kardashian in 2014, an incident for which he is still under probation.
