Saturday Night Live featured a particularly funny impersonation in last week’s episode, hosted by Miley Cyrus, when impression master Jay Pharoah performed his best Shannon Sharpe.

As Sharpe, Pharoah gave his analysis of NFL players and curren NFL scandals, using increasingly ridiculous metaphors. Pharoah also made fun of Sharpe’s speech and lip-licking habit.

After the sketch aired, it quickly went viral, though Sharpe took his time giving a comment. On Sunday, he tweeted that he had heard about the sketch, writing “I didn’t see SNL last night, but I hope it was as good impersonation of me as ppl are telling me.”

Early on Monday, while answering questions on Twitter, Sharpe said that he has now seen the sketch and “wasn’t impressed.”

Pharoah has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since 2010 and has made a name for himself with spot on impressions of Will Smith, Denzel Washington and President Obama.
