Stenberg, 16, took Smith, 16, to her high school prom on Friday, May 29, and the duo made quite the fashion statement. Stenberg wore a floor-length, metallic gown, paired with long, grey braids and a septum ring. Smith ditched his Batman Prom suit for what appears to be a long color-blocked, black and white dress over skinny jeans. Smith paired the daring look with a black blazer and sneakers.

After sharing photos on Tumblr, Stenberg, who frequently communicates with her fans on the site, complimented Smith’s style when a fan commented on the media attention surrounding his outfit. “Can we talk about how cool it is that Jaden loves dressing androgynously,” Stenberg responded.
