J.K. Rowling’s spin on the 12 days of Christmas will include a new Harry Potter story for each of the days leading up to December 25.

J.K. Rowling’s Christmas Gift For Potter Fans

Rowling announced the festive news on Harry Potter fan site Pottermore. “Christmas is coming early to pottermore.com. Starting Friday, December 1, we’ll be releasing a surprise for you every day at 8am EST,” reads the announcement on the website. “Unwrap exciting new writing by J.K. Rowling, brand new Moments, shiny gold Galleons and even a new potion or two.”

One of the stories will apparently focus on Harry Potter’s Hogwarts nemesis, Slytherine’s Draco Malfoy, reported The Telegraph.

Back in October, Rowling gifted fans with a Halloween surprise – a profile on the infamously awful Dolores Umbridge. In the 5,000-word writing, Rowling revealed details about Umbridge’s childhood, how she rose up the ranks in the Ministry of Magic and what her fate was following Voldemort’s death.

Rowling also offered up a bit of insight into the Harry Potter universe in the years after the books ended in July. Channeling Rita Skeeter, Rowling penned a tabloid article about Harry, Ron and Hermione reuniting at a Quidditch World Cup match.

In other Harry Potter news, feature film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, based off Rowling’s short book of the same name, is slated to hit theaters Nov. 18, 2016. Following the adventures of Newt Scamander, the events within the film will take place 70 years before Harry Potter hit the halls of Hogwarts.
