J.K. Rowling Gives Perfect Response To Rupert Murdoch’s Tweet About ‘Charlie Hebdo’ Attacks
J.K. Rowling tweets scathing response to Rupert Murdoch’s post about Muslims in the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris.
J.K. Rowling On Rupert Murdoch
Murdoch, who’s is known to weigh in on controversial topics on social media, didn’t miss the chance to share his thoughts on Islam following the shooting at the Charlie Hebdo offices last week. The business magnate seemed to put the blame of the attack on Muslims at large, rather than solely the individuals who carried out the attack and those who support it.
Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible. — Rupert Murdoch (@rupertmurdoch) January 10, 2015
Big jihadist danger looming everywhere from Philippines to Africa to Europe to US. Political correctness makes for denial and hypocrisy.

In response, Rowling applied Murdoch’s logic to her own religious affiliation.
I was born Christian. If that makes Rupert Murdoch my responsibility, I’ll auto-excommunicate. https://t.co/Atw1wNk8UX — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) January 11, 2015
.@dom209 The Spanish Inquisition was my fault, as is all Christian fundamentalist violence. Oh, and Jim Bakker.

Rowling also offered a response – with statistics – to a tweeter who said that Islam is “anti-humanity.”
.@peeyushmalhotra Eight times more Muslims have been killed by so-called Islamic terrorists than non-Muslims. https://t.co/JXLfZOmcKl
