Last month rapper Future publicly humiliated current squeeze Blac Chyna when he wrote “Single & focusing on what makes me happy” in a tweet, just days after Chyna revealed on Instagram that she’d gotten a tattoo of the rapper’s name on her hand.

The tweet undoubtedly came as a low blow to Chyna but TMZ reported the model wasn’t too upset “cause she’s just happy to be ONE of the women he’s tapping.”

Future has just released a new music video for single “Rich $ex,” however, which features Chyna as his love interest and people are curious as to whether the move is some form of apology for the diss. The steamy clip features the pair in a number of risqué poses, kissing, grinding and straddling their way through the 4 minute clip.

Others are speculating whether the two’s recent actions have all been part of some elaborate publicity stunt. Fans quickly realized that the release date of “Rich $ex” coincided with Blac Chyna’s ex, Tyga‘s birthday and, revisiting the tattoo incident, realized Chyna had shared the pic on the same day as Future’s ex, Ciara‘s birthday.

“That awkward moment when Future drops the Rich video feat. Blac Chyna on Tygas birthday,” one Twitter user wrote, while another said, “They childishhhhhhh, blac chyna showed her future tat on Ciara’s birthday and now the video dropped on togas birthday.”

No word yet from either Future or Chyna on whether the dates were purposefully chosen or just a coincidence.
