Ryan Gosling and his longtime girlfriend Eva Mendes are expecting their first child together, according to a new report.

Mendes, 40, is seven months along in her pregnancy with Gosling’s baby, reports Ok! Magazine. “She’s been ready for motherhood for a while now, and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!” a source told the publication.

The source also acknowledged that the couple has been on-and-off multiple times since meeting on the set of Place Beyond the Pines in 2011. However, upon learning of Mendes’s pregnancy, the two decided to dig their heels in to their relationship and are apparently considering marriage. Though Gosling is content to wait to tie the knot, Mendes reportedly is eager to get down the aisle.

Regardless of when the two get married, Gosling, 33, is supposedly ready to start a family with his girlfriend of three years. “Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what,” said the source. “This is it for him.”

Mendes Shut Down Pregnancy Rumors

Back in February, it was reported that Mendes refused to go through the scanners at LAX, sparking pregnancy rumors. Mendes explained the incident to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, claiming it was just a matter of wanting to avoid the intrusiveness and the radiation.

“It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport,” Mendes told DeGeneres “You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked. And not only that, but there’s a radiation aspect to it. So I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat-down. That was good enough reason [for people to think I’m pregnant].”
