'Idol' Boots Eccentric Siobhan Magnus
This week's performances were all about becoming a crossover artist on American Idol, so audiences were treated to duets by the likes of Rascall Flats, Shakira, Sons of Sylvia and Lady Antebellum. But the fun ended Wednesday night, when the eccentric Siobhan Magnus said goodbye to the Idol stage. She is survived by her other two bottom three colleagues: Michael Lynche and Casey James.
Siobhan sang Aretha Franklin's "Think" as her final song and was offered warm words of encouragement by Randy Jackson. The show continues next week with Harry Connick Jr. tutoring the remaining Idol hopefuls as they tackle the tunes of ol' blue eyes himself, Frank Sinatra.
