Hayden Panettiere Debuts Platinum Haircut
Hayden Panettiere, known for her loose honey-blond waves, rocked a far edgier look on her visit to The Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday.
Panettiere, 24, wore her significantly brighter locks in a pin straight do, which included blunt bangs across her forehead. She complimented the new hairstyle in a stained glass patterned long-sleeve mini dress and siren red booties. Her makeup was also a definite departure from the neutral tones Panettiere normally wears – mostly due to the bright red lipstick and flared liquid eyeliner.
While talking to David Letterman in the fierce new look, Panettiere talked about the perils of dating someone that has 100 plus pounds on her. Recounting a recent vacation, the Nashville actress shared an anecdote about jet skiing with her boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko.
“[Jet skis] are safe when you have a 110 pound girl on it,” Panettiere told the host. “When you add a 245 pound Ukrainian on the back it doesn’t go so well. This thing started sinking. I kid you not.”
Hayden Panettiere captioned the twitpic: "Ummm WHAT afternoon touch ups?? #whatareyoutryingtosay"
Panettiere’s new haircut certainly got widespread attention after the debut on Wednesday night, starting debates about whether or not she looked better pre-fringe. However, the concern over the transformation from boho waves to the chic straight do could all be for not. Panettiere posted a picture of herself on Twitter with what looks to be her pre-platinum hair on Thursday. The new look is more likely just a new wig.
