Halle Berry's Ex Files For Joint Custody

Could there be a custody battle in Halle Berry's future?

Though the X-Men actress, 44, and her "ex-man" Gabriel Aubry, 34, split last year under amicable circumstances, the Canadian model and father of Berry's two-year-old daughter Nahla, submitted legal documents to L.A. Superior Court on December 30, 2010 to be officially declared Nahla's father, reports E! News.

The couple dated for five years before they quietly and civilly declared their separation, but they left the courts out of their custody arrangements. Aubry's decision to submit the petition for joint physical and legal custody of the child, as well as support, is his attempt to cover his own rights.
