What Is Hollywood Vampires? The New Super Group With Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper And Joe Perry Take Grammys 2016 Stage

It may seem odd to see actor Johnny Depp stand alongside musical legends like Alice Cooper and Joe Perry, but he is there for a reason.

During an interview before the Grammy’s, Depp said he felt “lucky” to get to perform with legends such as Cooper and Perry in their supergroup Hollywood Vampires. The actor may look like the odd man out, but fans can judge for themselves after their first live performance tonight.

He also confirmed he would be playing the electric guitar during their tribute performance to Moorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, who passed away from cancer earlier this year.

Perry confirmed the collaboration on his Instagram on February 13, saying “Confirmed! #RockInRio announces Debut Of #TheHollywoodVampires!

Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp have been partners for a while and now with Joe Perry also on Hollywood Vampires, they will “rock it out “ yet once again. The sixth Brazilian edition of Rock in Rio will be hosted in the City of Rock, in Rio de Janeiro (Parque dos Atletas – Av. Salvador Allende, no number), on an area covering more than 150,000 m2.
