'Glee' Plans Britney Tribute Episode
After the smash hit Madonna tribute, Glee series creator Ryan Murphy is thinking about doing an all-Britney Spears episode. "I've always loved her," Murphy tells Entertainment Weekly. "I'm entertaining it. I think young kids would like that."
The Fox series staged a reenactment of the pop icon's "Vogue" video in the show's "The Power of Madonna" episode, which featured Jane Lynch (aka Sue Sylvester) as Madonna. "The key is the songs in the catalog have to have a certain degree of theatricality,” he said. The show is also looking into doing Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, and Courtney Love tributes. –KRIS ALCANTARA
