‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Sequel: E.L. James Releasing Book From Christian’s Point Of View

E.L. James announced Monday that she will soon release a new Fifty Shades of Grey book that will be told from Christian Grey’s point of view.

“Hello all. For those of you who have asked, Christian’s POV of #FSOG is published on 18th June for his birthday,” James wrote on Instagram with a picture of the book’s cover. “It’s called GREY… I hope you enjoy it. #FiftyShades #Grey.”

“This book is dedicated to those readers who asked…and asked… and asked… and asked for this,” James wrote on the first page of the new book, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past,” the best-selling author added. “Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place — writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage.”

Grey will be published in paperback and as an eBook by Vintage Books.

James has sold 125 million copies of the three Fifty Shades of Grey books. The sequel to the wildly successful adaptation of the first book in the trilogy – starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson – will hit theaters sometime in 2017.
