Franklin, 33, was booked at the Horry County Detention Center in Conway at roughly 5 a.m., reported TMZ. Alcohol was allegedly involved in the incident, though further details concerning the events leading to her arrest have not been revealed.

Following her arrest, Franklin took to Instagram, posting a picture of a quote and writing, “That part! 💪I'm good just hate the dumb media sometimes, but hey this is the job I signed up for. So I respect it💯 #TurnDownForWhat😝 #TeamFARRAH💋 #GodsChild🙏 #Instagram.”

On Monday, Franklin posted another quote along with a message about there being three sides to every story. “Unbothered and staying prayed up and, away from any negativity. #StillStanding💪 #GodsChild🙏 Don't judge what you don't know.💯 The sad thing is people LIVE for drama but run from the truth, Smh. There's always 3 sides to a story your side, my side and the TRUTH!” Franklin wrote. “But the truth is normally not as interesting as a lie, lol.👎 Thank you to EVERYONE who has reached out to send me love and Blessings during this messy time in my life it's greatly appreciated. 😘😘😘😘#TheNerveOfSomePeople😒#AllICanDoIDLaugh #OnlyGODCanJudgeMe🙌 #MyLife #Instagram”

In 2011, Franklin was also booked for disorderly conduct. At the time, she claimed she was a victim of racial profiling, according to TMZ.

Franklin performed with Destiny’s Child for five months before the other members of the group – Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams – asked her to leave. She apparently had missed a number of events, though Franklin has said that it was her decision to leave. "I felt like I was losing my identity,” Franklin told E! News. “I just couldn't handle the situation … I had to leave."
