Faith Hill The Subject Of New 'South Park' Meme

Matt Stone and Trey Parker's South Park teased Wednesday night's show by poking fun at the GOP debates with Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul, but the actual epsiode took a left turn after the opening scene, absurdly poking fun at Internet memes like planking and Tebowing by creating new memes after celebs Faith Hill and Taylor Swift.

The name of the episode, "Faith Hilling," gave something away, but the jig was up when Cartman rushed the GOP stage and pulled the front of his shirt out with both hands to give the impression of breasts underneath. The show called the absurd act of rebellion "Faith Hilling," for no apparent reason.

The entire episode went on to poke fun not of the GOP debates, but of the concept of internet memes that display people striking odd poses in unconventional locations. Faith Hilling was just the tip of the iceberg on the South Park episode. Taylor Swifting, which inexplicably involved dropping one's pants and dragging one's butt along the ground, also became extremely popular.

So popular, in fact, that Gingrich's character was outraged that Cartman did not crash the GOP debates by Taylor Swifting. "Faith Hilling is pretty lame," said Gingrich. "If they had crashed the debate by Taylor Swifting, that would have been impressive."

Neither Hill nor Swift have commented on their name being used as a new Internet meme.
