Douglas To Play Liberace
Michael Douglas will play the over-the-top singer Liberace and Matt Damon is set to star as his boyfriend in an upcoming film by Steven Soderbergh. "We've already done some costume and wardrobe tests on Michael, and they're very, very, very good," Soderbergh told a French newspaper. "I swear to you, Michael amazed me. He crushed it." Liberace, known as Mr. Showmanship, was a TV fixture in the 50s and 60s. Damon will play Scott Thorsen, Liberace's boyfriend who sued the singer for $110 million in palimony in 1982. (Photo: WENN)
