Dog the Bounty Hunter, whose real name is Duane Chapman, has pledged to track down MMA fighter War Machine, born Jon Koppenhaver, who is on the run after beating his ex-girlfriend, adult film star Christy Mack.

Christy Mack Releases Statement, Details Beating

War Machine has been on the run since Friday, Aug. 8, when Mack was hospitalized after being severely beaten in her Las Vegas home. He is currently wanted by the police as the “primary suspect” in Mack’s beating. Mack released a terrifying account of her attack on Monday evening, detailing the attack and the extent of her injuries, including graphic photos.

“My injuries include 18 broken bones around my eyes, my nose is broken in 2 places, I am missing teeth and several more are broken. I am unable to chew, or see out of my left eye. My speech is slurred from my swelling and lack of teeth. I have a fractured rib and severely raptured liver from a kick to my side. My leg is so badly injured I have not been able to walk on my own,” Mack stated, adding that she also suffered cuts.

In her statement, Mack alleges that War Machine arrived at her home, beat her male friend and then turned on her. War Machine then allegedly beat her and forced Mack to undress in front of him before retrieving a “dull knife” and sawing off her hair. After threatening to rape her, Mack says War Machine left her side to go into the kitchen, where she assumed he was trying to find a sharper knife, and Mack was able to escape, running through her neighborhood naked and beaten, knocking on doors until someone answered and was able to get her to a hospital.

“I believed I was going to die. He has beaten me many times before, but never this badly,” Mack said in her statement.

She later added that, throughout their relationship, he would cheat on her constantly and would abuse her “weekly.”

Dog The Bounty Hunter Vows To Find War Machine

When Chapman, ex-star of Dog the Bounty Hunter and current star of CMT’s Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, got wind of the story, he issued a warning to War Machine, telling him that he had 24 hours to turn himself in before he and his team would go after him.

War Machine’s time has since expired, and Chapman claims to be closing in on the MMA fighter.

“Well, yes we’re closing in, and we use non-lethal weapons…If he does [resist], then he’s still going to jail – no matter what,” Chapman told HLN.

Chapman is confident that War Machine will be brought to justice, telling HLN, “The only way this guy can get away from us is to starve himself to death.”

Meanwhile, Jenna Jameson, a friend of Mack’s, immediately took to social media to stand up for her friend and denounce War Machine, who went on a brief Twitter rant Sunday to declare his love for Mack.

Fans and supporters have also begun a fund to support Mack’s recovery on GiveForward, and have raised $55,000.

War Machine: On The Run

War Machine has remained silent since his Aug. 10 twitter rant. In his last few tweets, War Machine admitted to running from the police, claiming they would treat him unfairly, and maintained that he was not the aggressor, writing, “I don’t know y I’m so cursed. One day truth will come out.”

War Machine has a record of violent behavior, and there are currently seven warrants out for his arrest for charges including battery by strangulation, battery with substantial bodily harm and battery by strangulation.
