Christina Hendricks Loses $850K Bracelet At Globes

Christina Hendricks, 35, had a moment of madness on the red carpet Sunday night when she lost a diamond bracelet worth $850,000, loaned by Chopard.

The curvy actress looked stunning a floor sweeping, off-the-shoulder red dress and the jewels to match, but one of the two bracelets the Swiss jeweler had loaned her slipped off her wrist during her walk up the red carpet, according to The New York Post's Page Six.

Once inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Hendricks noticed one of the bracelets – a 124-carat, pear-cut diamond bracelet set in platinum – was missing just moments before the show started. While the stars were all being escorted to their seats, the Mad Men star rushed outside to see if anyone had found the precious jewels. "Have you seen a diamond bracelet? I've lost one that looks like this," she was asking reporters, indicating the similar one remaining on her wrist. Luckily, an event worker had found the piece and returned it to the flushed actress.

Once back at her table, however, Hendricks was unable to fasten the tricky clasp, so she once again rushed outside to give the bracelet to her publicist for safekeeping. She was allowed back to attend the ceremony just seconds before the awards show kicked off. —KIMBERLY STEELE
