Charlie Sheen, CBS Discuss Possible Return To 'Two And A Half Men'

03/21/2011

No rest for the warlocks, apparently. After a highly publicized fall out and firing from CBS, Charlie Sheen is reportedly in talks with the network about a possible return, Jeff Rossen of NBC reports.

"Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal," Rossen posted on his Twitter account on Monday. Rossen interviewed Sheen for NBC's two part sit down earlier this month, garnering praise from the actor himself, who called the journalist a "rock star."

Despite being fired from Two and a Half Men—where he was making nearly $2 million an episodeSheen has been reaping the benefits of his increased publicity of late. He gained over one million followers upon joining Twitter, and has subsequently launched a webcast and announced plans for an upcoming national tour, which will reportedly earn him $7 million. While it's likely he'd enjoy his hefty salary back, life outside of CBS' walls hasn't exactly made him go hungry. —EMILY EXTON
