Bullock Asked To Return Razzie
After winning the Razzie Award for worst performance of the year for her role in All About Steve, Sandra Bullock graciously showed up to collect the prize – too bad she took the wrong statue, an expensive original prototype. Now, the Razzie committee is asking for it back. "We are ready to take the unprecedented step of asking a winner to return a Razzie," founder John Wilson tells Britain's Telegraph. "As Sandra was in such a rush after winning Worst Actress she ran off with the original handmade protoype, which has been present at ceremonies since the 1980s."
The committee realized the mistake just as news of husband Jesse James's alleged affairs came to light and waited to ask for the return of the original until now. Wilson promises that Bullock will receive a $5 copy of the statue when she returns the original.
