It was announced back in February that Elizabeth Banks had signed on to play Rita Repulsa, the ultimate villain in 90s kids series Might Morphin Power Rangers. The alien witch, who wants to ruin Earth, is the Power Rangers’ chief nemesis. “After 10,000 years, I’m free! It’s time to conquer Earth!!,” Banks tweeted at the time. “Time to play #RitaRepulsa #PowerRangersMovie.”

Last October, Lionsgate Films revealed that Naomi Scott, who starred in Terra Nova and The Martian, would play Kimberly, aka The Pink Ranger. RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin and Dacre Montgomery are also in the cast.

Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) will direct the Power Rangers film from a script penned by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (The Last Witch Hunter).
