Britney Spears released her newest single “Work B—h,” a day early after an unfinished version of the song leaked onto the Internet on Sunday.

“Work B—h” leaked Sunday Sept. 15 causing Spears to change her original plans of releasing the single Monday Sept. 16.

Spears and her manager, Adam Leber, worked to move up the radio premiere and iTunes release of the Will.i.Am-produced song.

After debuting the song on iHeartRadio, Spears promoted the song’s release for purchase on iTunes at midnight Monday, Sept. 16. 24 hours after its radio premiere and barely 14 hours after its iTunes release, “Work B—h” has reached number two on iTunes, behind Miley Cyrus and her new single “Wrecking Ball.”

Spears has been teasing fans with the prospect of impending new music for some time, with a countdown to Sept. 17 on her official website with the title All Eyes On Me. Recently, Spears teased fans with glimpses at her "Work B—h" music video. Sept. 8, Spears tweeted a picture of herself wearing only a pair of sparkly heels and a bikini with a simple caption: “#WorkB—hDay2.”

The singer also posted a picture of the shoot on Instagram.

While celebrating the release of “Work B—h” on Twitter, Spears also announced plans to announce big news during her appearance on Tuesday’s Good Morning America, saying, “You definitely aren’t going to want to miss this.”

Fans are hoping the release of “Work B—h” means that an eighth Britney album is on the way. Spears’ last album, Femme Fatale, was released in 2011.
