Bill O’Reilly is taking his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy back to court, suing her for the sum of $10 million amid allegations that she was unfaithful to him during the course of their marriage.

Bill O’Reilly Sues Wife

O’Reilly, 66, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against McPhilmy, claiming that she misled him about the terms of their separation, reported Gawker. The Fox News pundit claims that McPhilmy used the money that she was receiving throughout the separation to have an affair with another man. Despite O’Reilly’s best efforts to keep the lawsuit a secret, it has remained unsealed.

Per his complaint, his now-remarried ex-wife, “made false representations and material omissions of existing fact … for the sole purpose of inducing Plaintiff to agree to a consensual divorce and to obtain money and real property to finance an existing extra-marital relationship.”

It is believed that the relationship O’Reilly is referring to is between McPhilmy and her current husband, Nassau County Police detective Jeffrey Gross.

Sources close to the couple claim that O’Reilly is driven by bitterness, and that he’s out to disrupt the life that McPhilmy has built with Gross.

”Bill has a lot of money. He also has a lot of power. He’s determined to hurt them any way he can,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Bill O’Reilly can say whatever he says, but these allegations just don’t sound like Jeff at all. He’s a family man. A great cop – they voted him detective of the year once.”

The insider added, “He’s not the sort of person to go sneaking around behind peoples’ backs. It just seems as if Bill is bitter and he can’t let it go.”

O’Reilly and McPhilmy divorced in 2011 after 15 years of marriage. Together, they have two teenage children, who McPhilmy was granted residential custody of earlier this year.
