Wednesday was National Best Friends Day and many took to social media to show off their BFFs.

Ben Affleck joined the festivities when he posted a throw back photo collage with his long-time best friend Matt Damon on Instagram.

The picture takes place at one of Damon’s birthday parties and shows him pushing Affleck’s face into a cake.

The post is warmly captioned: “This Guy. #NationalBestFriendsDay”

The duo’s friendship became famous in Hollywood after their 1997 hit Good Will Hunting. Their latest accomplishment as best friends was being honored with the “Guys of the Decade” award at the 10th Spike Guys Choice Awards, which took place this Saturday.
