Actress Bella Thorne, 18, took to social media to reveal her sexuality.

Thorne, who starred in Disney’s Shake it Up, posted a couple photos of herself and another woman kissing, which sparked many tweets in her direction. One fan simply asked, “Are you bisexual?” to which Thorne replied, “Yes.”

Unlike other celebrities who make grand statements, the young star clearly did not feel the need to make a big deal of her sexuality. Another fan asked of her recent relationship with Gregg Sulkin, 24, to which Thorne tweeted another reply. The pair dated for 15 months and bought a house together in February of this year before breaking up.

Thorne has received an overwhelming amount of support for her open and honest communication. It seems clear that Thorne will continue to interact with fans in this way, and gain more fans as a result.

Thorne is currently shooting a new TV series called Famous In Love, which will premiere on Freeform in 2017.
