Schwarzenegger and Cruise were at the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners to talk about their forthcoming franchise installments for Paramount – Terminator: Genisys and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, whose releases will bookend the month of July. Genisys hits theaters July 1, while Rogue Nation will premiere July 31.

Schwarzenegger, clad in his Terminator costume of jeans, leather jacket and opaque black sunglasses, got up on the stage to promise the audience that the fifth installment of the Terminator will be a lucrative one.

“I know that no one really cares about the big entrances and all of those things, that all you care about is something that I promised a long time ago and that is big, big box office,” Schwarzenegger said.

The action star added, “Because we all know that the first three Terminators that I was involved in, which is really the only thing that counts, made over a billion dollars worldwide, and that’s not even adjusted to today’s box office receipts, so think about that.”

As for Cruise, he admitted that the bravado he puts on while doing his own daring stunts is something of a show. “I’m actually scared sh**less,” Cruise revealed. Despite his fear, Cruise has no plans on stopping. “I want to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.” he said.
