Anne Hathaway Weds Adam Shulman

The Dark Knight Rises actress Anne Hathaway, 29, is now Mrs. Catwoman. Hathaway married boyfriend Adam Shulman, 31, on Saturday in a secluded private estate in Big Sur, Calif., in a custom Valentino gown no less. "Anne was ecstatic with how everything turned out and so in love with Adam. She was walking on air and never stopped smiling. He was doting on her, rubbing her back and helping her with her dress every step she took," a source told E! Online. "At the party, they went around hugging and kissing all of their guests, making sure to say hello. They had a wonderful time and it definitely seemed like the best day of their lives."

The afternoon ceremony took place outside, surrounded by pine trees and nature-inspired decor, and Hathaway and Shulman later partied with guests until almost midnight. The pair began dating in 2008, were engaged in 2011 and held an engagement party at a New York City bookstore in February of this year where they served vegan cuisine per the couple's diet. "I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan," Hathaway told People last year. "I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!"

Hathaway was no doubt looking for some quiet time after her ex-boyfriend, Italian Raffaello Follieri, whom she dated from 2004 to 2008, was charged with felony and imprisoned on counts of conspiracy, wire fraud and money-laundering, for which he served time until this May. After being released and deported back to Italy, Follieri sold personal pictures of the former couple when they were still dating. But the glitch hasn't seemed to affect the drama-less Hathaway and Shulman, who went ahead with the wedding only two months after the incident. "We have house parties and dinner parties and just hang out," Hathaway said of her low-key relationship. "I'm so delighted by [Adam]. He's all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence."
