Angelina Jolie graced the red carpet at the UK premiere of her directorial debut Unbroken in a stunning ivory dress.

Angelina Jolie At ‘Unbroken’ Premiere

Jolie’s impeccable premiere style included a caped dress by Ralph & Russo, British couturiers whom the actress has commissioned multiple times in the past. She recently wore a Ralph & Russo design when she collected her honorary damehood from Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace last month.

In addition to her British couture dress, Jolie further honored the nation at the premiere in London by donning a Royal British Legion crystal poppy brooch to mark remembrance. The handcrafted brooch features 10 ruby crystals and an engraved message that reads “Lest We Forget.”

Jolie was joined in wearing the broach by Jack O’Connell, who stars in the film as Louis Zamperini, whose life story unfolds in Unbroken. The film is based on Laura Hillenbrand’s 2010 book of the same name.

”I wanted someone relatively unknown [to play Louis Zamperini]. It had to be someone with a true masculinity that men would respond to as well as women,” Jolie recently told Entertainment Weekly about the actor. “He needed to have a genuine strength of character, a toughness, and a great sense of humor.”

Unbroken will hit theaters on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
