Adriana Lima Unveils Madame Tussauds Victoria’s Secret Angel-Themed Wax Figure

Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima helped unveil her Madame Tussauds wax figure in New York City on Monday.

Lima took to Twitter and Instagram to celebrate the honor of having her own wax figure at the famed museum. “With #MadameLima today #VSFashionShow @NYCWax,” she captioned a pair of snaps on Twitter.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel wrote on Instagram, “Me, myself and I…… Double trouble ? @nycwax @victoriassecret #VSFashionShow #MadameLima.”

For the wax figure of the super model, who is Victoria’s Secret’s longest-running Angel, Madame Tussauds clad her in a look from the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Lima is the first Victoria’s Secret Angel to have her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York, and is the second Brazilian after soccer star Pelé.

While Lima is best known for her modeling, she’s dabbled in acting over the years and hopes to one day parlay her success as a model into a career as an actress – though that doesn’t mean she’s ready to drop fashion campaigns altogether.

“I want to continue to be a model because I feel honored to still be working and doing great campaigns at my age of 34 and with two children. I want to keep up modeling to show that women these days are aging beautifully and you don’t need to be young to be successful,” Lima told Viva magazine, adding, “That, and I would love to become an actress in the future so I will keep my fingers crossed.”
