Adrian Peterson was accused of using credit cards from his All Day Foundation charity to pay for a drunken orgy in a Minneapolis hotel room. Peterson has summarily shut down the reports.

Adrian Peterson Orgy?

Peterson has been under increased scrutiny since he was indicted on child abuse charges for disciplining his son to the point of injury last month.

The latest story to emerge about Peterson is one that dates back to 2011, when he was investigated for criminal sexual assault. Though no charges were ever filed, the written report included allegations that Peterson spent a night in a hotel room – paid for with a charity credit card – in which men and women engaged in drinking, sex and arguments, reported the Star-Tribune.

The Star-Tribune article went on to claim that Peterson’s notoriety for his charitable works is unearned. According to the newspaper’s story, funds that were allotted to certain organizations were never sent.

Peter Shuts Down Report

Peterson took to Twitter Tuesday night to address the misleading article. Not only did he slam the paper for their account of the 2011 incident, but also tore apart their account of his All Day Foundation charity. Titling his response "Journalism 101," he points to details that the Sun-Times failed to confirm, while praising ESPN's research. He also slammed the paper for mentioning the children he's had out of wedlock, but not mentioning the fact that he's addressed his promiscuous past and made steps to change his ways.

Peter is scheduled to make his first appearance at a Texas court Wednesday to fight child abuse charges. It’s expected that he will plead not guilty.
