'24' Canceled, But Movie Is In Works
Fox has canceled its signature series 24, citing low ratings and high production costs, but plans for a possible Jack Bauer feature film have been put on the fast track. The eighth and final season concludes with a two-hour finale May 24.
"I'm really nostalgic and really sad," series star Kiefer Sutherland told USA Today. "Before this show, I wasn't working a whole lot. Ultimately, we felt we had a much better opportunity of doing something special by doing a film." The feature film will take place in Prague. No word yet on a release date.
