Sergio Garcia Under Fire For Racist Jibe At Tiger Woods, Apologizes

Sergio Garcia landed in hot water when he made a clearly racist jibe at fellow golfer Tiger Woods at the European Tour Player Awards gala on Tuesday night. Although he's apologized, he still might face backlash from sponsors, reported ESPN.

When Garcia was asked at the party if he would invite Woods, whom he claimed to have a long-standing feud with during the Players Championship, to dinner during the US Open, Garcia said, “We will have him around every night,” he said, “And we will serve fried chicken.”

The European Tour’s public relations staff quickly took action to diffuse the ill-advised quip, issuing a statement on Garcia’s behalf later on Tuesday night. The statement indicated that he had regretted the “silly remark,” but denied it had any racial implications.

Woods was duly unimpressed by the apology, and not amused in the slightest. “The comment that was made wasn’t silly. It was wrong, hurtful and clearly inappropriate…,” wrote Woods on his Twitter page. “I’m confident that there is real regret that the remark was made,” he added.

Garcia attempted to apologize again on Wednesday during an impromptu press conference. First apologizing to his Ryder Cup teammates, and then to Woods, he still refused to cop to any racist intent. "I want to apologize to Tiger and anybody that I could have offended," Garcia said. "I feel sick about it. I'm truly, truly sorry. And I hope we can kind of settle things down and hopefully move on."

Back in 1997, Fuzzy Zoeller, a former Masters champ was referring to Woods when he told a TV crew, “That little boy is driving well, and he's putting well,” he said. “He's doing everything it takes to win. So, you know what you guys do when he gets in here? You pat him on the back and say congratulations and enjoy it and tell him not to serve fried chicken next year.

“Got it? ... Or collard greens or whatever the hell they serve.”

Although Garcia’s remarks were a bit less flagrant, both golfers tried to use the same exhausted stereotype of African Americans for a laugh. After Zoeller’s remarks, he lost his sponsors.

“Sergio Garcia’s recent comment was offensive and in no way aligns with TaylorMade-adidas Golf’s values and corporate culture,” the company, who sponsors Garcia, said in a statement. “We have spoken with Sergio directly, and he clearly has regret for his statement and we believe he is sincere.

“We discussed with Sergio that his comments are clearly out of bounds, and we are continuing to review the matter.”

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Recap: Kellie Pickler Wins Mirror Ball Trophy

Kellie Pickler is the last celebrity standing on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, becoming the winner of season 16 of the dancing competition with her pro partner Derek Hough.

The country singer and former American Idol contestant was truly in shock when host Tom Bergeron announced that she was the champion. “Oh my god,” she exclaimed. Then, when Bergeron asked if she had pictured the win, she replied, “No, not at all. This is amazing. Oh my God.”

On Monday night, Pickler and Hough ended up in second place on the leader board, behind Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy. They had received perfect scores for their quickstep and “super-size freestyle” contemporary routine, which was arguably the best performance of the night. But the judges put them in second place for their “cha cha relay.” Votes from the viewers, however, tipped the final scale in their favor.

Disney star Zendaya ended up in second place, followed by Baltimore Raven Jacoby Jones and gymnast Aly Raisman in fourth.

When Dancing With the Stars returns for its 17th season, it will no longer have a results show. All the action will take place in their 2-hour Monday night block.

Emma Roberts Joins Boyfriend Evan Peters On ‘American Horror Story: Coven’

Emma Roberts will be joining her longtime boyfriend Evan Peters in the next season of American Horror Story, which is subtitled Coven.

Roberts, who is known for her role in Unfabulous, will play a “self-involved party girl” named Madison, reported TVLine. Other new castmembers for the series' third season include Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone and Gabourey Sidibe.

In addition to Roberts, returning castmembers of the series include Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga.

Filming for Coven will be kicking off in New Orleans in the near future, but little else is known about the next season of the FX horror show except that it will revolve around a “coven” of witches. Brad Falchuk, previously teased Coven as “a really cool story we’ve been talking about for a couple of years. So we’re going to do that.”

Although it’s uncertain how Peters feels about his girlfriend joining him on set, it would be fair to assume that Roberts is looking forward to it based on comments she made earlier this month after attending the Tribeca Film Festival with Peters. "It was nice, because the work stuff gets boring sometimes," she told E! News. “So to have your friends and family and your boyfriend there, it makes it a lot easier and a lot more fun."

American Horror Story: Coven will premiere on FX in October.

Ibragim Todashev, Man Tied To Boston Triple-Homicide And Tsarnaevs, Shot Dead By FBI In Florida

Ibragim Todashev, who was gunned down by the FBI in Florida on Wednesday, is reportedly connected to the Boston triple-homicide that took the life of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s good friend, according to CNN.

Todashev attended the same Boston mixed martial arts center as the late Boston Marathon bombing suspect. He even had the older Tsarnaev’s number still in his cell phone, according to a source. Both Todashev and Tamerlan were also members of MMA forum Sherdog.com, of which William Plotnikov, a Russian-Canadian boxer who later became a jihadist, was also a member.

Plotikov died in a firefight with Russian forces in 2012 in Dagestan during the time that Tamerlan had also been visiting the region. Authorities in Orlando killed Todashev out of self-defense during their investigation into his involvement in the 2011 slayings.

Todshev, 27, was also acquainted with Tamerlan’s younger brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Dzhokhar is currently being held at a federal prison in Massachusetts.

Melissa McCarthy Fires Extra For Mistreating Child

Melissa McCarthy, the Mike & Molly and Bridesmaids star, fired an extra off of the set of her new movie Tammy who was mistreating her own child, reported TMZ.

The extra, reportedly in her 20s, had brought her child along for the shoot – which included over 200 extras and took place by a lake –for the standard extra payout of $58. The child, roughly four or five, was misbehaving. Although the mother tried to calm and quiet down her child, the kid continued to be disruptive to production.

In an attempt to get the kid to stop acting up, the young mom violently lifted the child up in the air by the arm. When McCarthy saw the interaction, she arranged for PAs to remove the woman from the film set, stating that she would not tolerate abuse on her watch.

Tammy, written and directed by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, is due in theaters next summer. It tells the story of a woman who goes on a road trip with her alcoholic mother after getting fired from her job at a fast food restaurant and discovering that her husband cheated.

Susan Sarandon, Dan Aykroyd, Allison Janney and Kathy Bates are all set to star in the comedy flick that has McCarthy in the lead role.

Jodi Arias Asks The Jury To Spare Her Life

Jodi Arias, the convicted murderer of boyfriend Jason Alexander, addressed the jury in the final phase of her trial and asked them to spare her life.

Her statement, a direct address to the jury, ran for nearly 20 minutes in which she frequently broke into quiet tears. Like during her testimony, she asserted that she had been abused and had killed Alexander in self-defense after feeling physically threatened.

She told the jury that killing Alexander was “the worst mistake” and “the worst thing I’ve ever done.” Although she claimed it was hard to believe that she was guilty of such an atrocity, “I know that I was, and that I’m going to be sorry for the rest of my life – probably longer.”

Arias, pleading for her life, claimed that if she were allowed to live that she would be a productive member of society. She claimed that she would teach fellow prisoners to read and perform acts of charity from behind bars.

The convicted murderer also referenced her past statements, which suggested that she would prefer the death penalty to life in prison. "Each time I said that, though I meant it," she said, "I lacked perspective." She has credited her family for reinstilling in her the desire to live.

Arias defense attorney Jennifer Willmott argued that Arias’ lack of a prior criminal history and her young age should keep the jury from sentencing her to die. Prosecutor Juan Martinez counter-argued that sparing her life would be giving her something she’s no longer entitled to. "You have a duty, and that duty really means that you actually do the honest, right thing, even though it may be difficult," he said.

If sentenced to death by a unanimous vote by the jury, Arias will be the fourth woman on Arizona’s death row.

Will Forte Writing Sequel To 'MacGruber' – 'Thing I'm Most Proud Of' [Exclusive]

Will Forte announced to a surprised audience at the Cannes Film Festival Wednesday that he is starting to work on writing a sequel to his movie MacGruber, which was a box office dud bringing in just $8.4 million during its 2010 release. Forte, who popularized the character through numerous Saturday Night Live sketches during his run on the show, is at the festival promoting Nebraska, the Alexander Payne film in which he plays a man traveling with his father suffering from dementia. MacGruber, which starred Kristin Wiig and Ryan Phillippe, "is the thing I'm most proud of," Forte told an audience at the In the Conversation series at the Cannes American Pavilion sponsored by SodaStream. "You tend to judge a movie by how it does at the box office, but that movie was exactly how we wanted it."

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: Is Richard Dead? Will Calzona Survive?

Greys Anatomy wrapped up its ninth season last Thursday, leaving many of its beloved characters' storylines on emotional cliffhangers. Richard (James Pickens Jr.) is shown lying unconscious on the ground, likely electrocuted and potentially dead. Callie (Sara Ramirez) discovers Arizona’s (Jessica Capshaw) infidelities and that she’s nowhere near over the amputation performed by her wife’s hands. Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Christina (Sandra Oh) break up – again.

Playing it close to the chest, Shonda Rimes is hesitant to say too much about the true fate of the former chief of Seattle Grace, but she will say we’ll be seeing Pickens again. “ I love that people are asking [whether or not Richard is dead],” Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly. “I’m not going to answer it because I like that it’s a question. I will tell you that you will see Jim Pickens again, but I’m not going to answer the question.”

Rimes was more open about talking about what happened with Callie and Arizona, the married mothers of one. “Callie made a decision that saved Arizona’s life — and you get to the end of the season and clearly Arizona has been blaming her for this entire time,” she told EW. “Really, that’s what sort of sparked all this behavior.” Rimes, who is known for the diversity she showcases on her shows, intentionally wanted to show a real rift between the wives. “I feel like a lot of LGBT characters on television — and I hopefully don’t fall into this category — are sort of sanitized for our protection,” she said.

“They are happily in love and they hardly ever do anything wrong and they never cheat and they’re never too sexual and they don’t have any other storylines except about them being gay,” she added. “I felt like I wanted to give them a complex storyline that wasn’t about that.”

And as for Cristina and Owen, the tempestuous couple whose wants have been pulling them apart for years only to have their passion for each other pull them back together, Rimes suggests that they might finally be done for good. “I feel like there’s a sense that this is the end of the journey that they’ve been on for two seasons that was sort of messed up by the fact that she was in the plane crash….they were finally forced to have the conversation that neither of them wanted to have and it was a very honest conversation. She walked away and he did not follow.”

Another couple Grey’s viewers might be curious about is Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Alex (Justin Chambers), who finally kissed one another in the season finale. Luddington, for one, doesn’t have a clue as to where their storyline is headed. “I have absolutely no idea,” Luddington told Elle.“You never know what's going to happen — if suddenly [his ex-girlfriend] Lucy will come back or I get killed by a tree — you just don't know.”

Luddington might not know what’s in the season 10 scripts, but she certainly knows her show’s creator.

‘Grimm’ Finale Recap: Nick Ends Up In A Coffin

Grimm’s second season finale picked up with Nick ( David Giuntoli) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) spending the night together – the first since she’s gotten her memory back. Nick is apologetic that he didn’t explain who he was earlier, and tells her that he thought it might have been too difficult for her to wrap her head around. She’s entirely forgiving and they fall right back into love.

Across town, Baron Samedi (Reg. E. Cathy) lets loose his army of the undead. Beaming with pride, he sits back and relaxes as they terrorize the Portland, assaulting people and destroying property. The havoc leads Renard to call Nick and ask that he come in. When Nick gets to the station, Renard (Sasha Roiz) brings him up to speed. He tells him that files were discovered in Eric’s (James Frain) desk, that they include death certificates and passports, and that one file is on Thomas Schirach.

Although the threat the files pose is sure to be worrisome, Nick first has to deal with Samedi’s undead rampaging through the city. Furthermore, Lilly O’Hara, who had been missing, had apparently teamed up with a truck driver named Al. Nick and Wu find them and chase them up a stairwell. Lilly manages to evade capture after taking Wu out with a bite on the leg. Thankfully, Nick’s able to capture Al and load him into the car with Hank (Russell Hornsby).

Hank and Nick take him to the spice shop, where the group tries to get information out of him about Samedi’s undead. Rosalee (Bree Turner) finds an antidote that should reverse the trance that they’re in, which will require an instrument with three needles to administer. She needs to act fast, as the antidote only works in their current stage of the trance, the fourth. Nick and Hank leave the task to Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee, as they leave to follow another lead.

When Al wakes up, Monroe has to punch him to subdue him, allowing Rosalee the opportunity to give him his first dosage. When Al wakes up a second time, he’s cured of the trance. Although disoriented and frightened, it’s clear that Rosalee has successfully made the antidote cocktail.

Meanwhile, Nick and Hank follow the Buick Centurios, which leads them to Richard Mulpus. Nick then returns home briefly after finding candles and voodoo paraphernalia via the Buick chase. He starts to tell Julia all about the case, when Monroe calls him and tells him about Al’s status. Nick brings Juliette to the spice house to talk to Al, who tells them all about what happened to him, including the shipyard where the Baron is.

When they get to the shipyard, they start looking through the containers. Unbeknownst to them, Baron Samedi is watching them atop one of the other containers. He sets loose a bunch of his victims and Juliette and Rosalee work quickly to give them the antidote. But when the Baron releases more of the undead, they can’t keep up and are forced to run away. Nick opts to stay and fight. After a prolonged duel, the Baron shoots Nick in the face with his acidic saliva and loads him into a coffin-like box. Eric, who had just tried to convince Renard to come back to the royal family, arrives to slam the coffin door shut.

‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ Debuts In November

Call of Duty: Ghosts, which delivers a new take on the popular Call of Duty franchise, will hit the shelves on Nov. 5 for PS3, Xbox 360, and new systems the PS4 and the Xbox One.

During the unveiling of the Xbox One in Redmond, Wash., yesterday, Activision teased the new game with in-game footage of the first-person shooter series. It was the first glimpse the public has had of the new installment.

"It's a heavily destroyed America, not quite post-apocalyptic, (and) you are the underdog now," said executive producer Mark Rubin. With Ghosts, you get an experience "you hadn't seen before in a Call of Duty game, being sort of a resistance [fighter], against superior forces and relying on basically yourself, instead of advanced technology and overall numbers. … It's a new world, a new story, new characters and a new [game] engine."

Choosing to make Call of Duty: Ghosts instead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was thought to be a risk by many. Avid fans of the Modern Warfare series are invested and likely interested in another sequel. But some in the gaming industry think it’s the right time for a fresh take on the franchise. "A year of new consoles and hopefully new ideas, having a Call of Duty with a new name after the colon feels right," says Stephen Totilo, editor in chief at game industry news site Kotaku.com.

The action of the game takes place sometime in the future; roughly 10 years after a world event that sees America lose its super power status. The protagonist, played by the gamer, is accompanied by his brother throughout the series. The two join the army together and fight for their country’s survival. A military dog will also be a companion to the player.

'Star Trek' Nude Scene: Producer Admits It Was Gratuitous, Apologizes

Star Trek Into Darkness features a scene in which Dr. Carol Marcus (Alice Eve) strips down to just a bra and underwear in front of Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) for no clear narrative purpose or effect.

Since the second Star Wars installment hit theaters on May 16, fans of the franchise have been speaking out against the scene. One such irritated fan was Marry Sue’s Jill Pantozzi.

“Eve’s character of Dr. Carol Marcus was touted to have incredible intelligence, though instead of allowing her to use it to effect the plot, she was used as the most blatant eye-candy I’ve seen in a long time,” Pantozzi wrote. “We see this kind of thing a lot in Hollywood, sure, but the scene in question was akin to an actor holding up and verbally speaking the name of a can of Coca-Cola during a scene about cats or general surgery.”

Damon Lindelof, the producer of Star Trek Into Darkness, took to Twitter to address the scene that many found to be blantantly sexist. “I copped to the fact that we should have done a better job of not being gratuitous in our representation of a barely clothed actress,” Lindelof wrote, adding, “We also had Kirk shirtless in underpants in both movies. Do not want to make light of something that some construe as mysogenistic [sic].

“What I’m saying is I hear you, I take responsibility and will be more mindful in the future."

It also probably didn’t help the scene’s reception that Eve’s character was virtually the only female character who had speaking lines in Star Trek Into Darkness.

George Michael Hospitalized For Crash Injuries

George Michael, the former Wham! singer, is still being hospitalized for injuries sustained during Thursday's car accident, reported the BBC.

Michael was a passenger in a Range Rover, when the vehicle got into a collicition near St. Albans on the M1 in Hertfordshire, England. He was airlifted from the scene to a London trauma center after paramedics found him on the road.

"Following the traffic accident on Thursday, we can confirm that he is still in hospital,” said Michael’s spokesperson."We are keen to stress it's purely as a precaution for observation.

"He did suffer a couple of bumps and bruises to the head and that's why they are keeping him in - to keep an eye on him. He is doing better. He is making good progress and is looking forward to getting out."

Michael had been entirely conscious throughout his treatment at the scene, and no injuries had been deemed life threatening, according to East of England Ambulance Service’s Gary Sanderson.

San Francisco To Host 50th Super Bowl, Houston 51st

The 50^th Super Bowl will be held in San Francisco, and the 51^st NFL championship game in 2017 will take place in Houston, reported The New York Times.

On Tuesday, team owners sat down to a vote to determine which teams would host the L and LI Super Bowl matchups. They ultimately decided to go with the new 49ers stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., that will be completed sometime before the league’s 2014 season. The 49ers haven’t hosted the NFL championship game since 1985, when the game was held at Stanford University’s stadium

"After losing a Super Bowl [to the Baltimore Ravens], it feels really good to win a Super Bowl," San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York quipped, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Reliant Stadium, home of the Houston Texans, was granted the 51^st Super Bowl Game. The Super Bowl was last in Houston in 2004.

"I can't tell you how excited I am for Houston in being selected as the site for the 2017 Super Bowl," Texans owner Bob McNair said in a statement. "This is a worldwide stage that will be constructed in Houston and the world will be watching. It's an opportunity to showcase our wonderful city, the NFL and the Super Bowl all at the same time."

It was long-rumored that the NFL would look to host the 50^th Super Bowl in Los Angeles, the city that held the first NFL championship game. However, due to the lack of a franchise in the area, or even a suitable venue situation, the league and nostalgic fans had to give up the idea.

Next year, the Super Bowl is being held at the MetLife Stadium in the New Jersey Meadowlands. It’s the first time that the game is being played outside in a cold-weather environment. If the sporting event is successful, it’s likely that the franchises in Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago and Denver will bid for the game in the future, reported ESPN.

Phoenix, home of the Arizona Cardinals, will host the 2015 game.

Justin Bartha, Lia Smith Engaged

Justin Bartha and his girlfriend, personal trainer Lia Smith, are engaged, reported People.

"They're very happy," a source told the magazine. The couple, who was first publicly linked this past January, were photographed together spending time in Hawaii on New Year’s Day. "They were very cute with each other," an eyewitness told People at the time. "They had their arms around each other and were kissing."

Bartha first met Smith at Equinox in Los Angeles during a Pilates session, and has been dating her for a substantial period of time, according to Us Weekly. He previously dated Ashley Olsen, 26, for two years, and has also been romantically linked to Scarlett Johansson, 28.

Bartha is perhaps best known for playing Doug in the Hangover movies, a role he’ll be reprising shortly in The Hangover Part III due in theaters May 23. He recently starred in the NBC sitcom the New Normal opposite Andrew Rannells.

‘Halo’ Series Coming To Xbox One, Produced By Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg will be the executive producer on an upcoming live-action Halo TV series, which will feature exclusive interactive Xbox One content, Microsoft announced during the unveiling of the new entertainment console.

Created in partnership with 343 industries and Xbox Entertainment Studios, the series will re-envision the multibillion-dollar game franchise. Halo is a first-person shooter game where the protagonist fighting against an alliance of aliens in an attempt to save humankind.

The Xbox One is the first new Xbox in 8 years, and aspires to be an all-in-one entertainment console where one can play video games, watch movies and TV, etc. The voice-commanded entertainment box switches channels and input source seamlessly.

Spielberg already had a busy development season ahead of him prior to coming on board as the Halo series executive producer. Lucky 7 was picked up by ABC this month and he’s also producing CBS’ adaptation of Steven King’s Under the Dome that hits the air in June. Furthermore, TNT is developing two scripted dramas from Spielberg’s Amblin Television – Portal House and a reimagined Peter Gunn series.

Dressed in black leggings, a black crop top and heels, Minaj danced on top of the seated rapper while he gladly looked on.

In between twerking on her label-mate’s lab, Minaj took home a trio of Billboard awards, including Top Streaming Artist, Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Album for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The album was her second No. 1 album, debuting on the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

Birdman took to Twitter to congratulate Minaj for award show haul, writing, "Congrats lil sis @NICKIMINAJ. We Tha Business. pretty Gang Rich gang YMCMB.”

Zach Sobiech Dies At 18, Leaves Behind Musical Legacy

Zach Sobiech, the terminally ill teen whose song “Clouds” became a viral hit on YouTube, has died after a four-year battle with cancer.

Sobiech was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when he was just 14-years-old. Last May, he received the grim news that he had exhausted all treatment options and likely had only one more year to live. Around that time, Sobiech began penning song lyrics, a discovery that was made by his mother when she found a crumbled piece of paper with the original lyrics to “Clouds.”

Eventually Sobiech threw himself into his music, and launched music videos on YouTube featuring his songs. “Clouds” became a viral hit on the video-sharing site, receiving over 3 million views. Earlier this month, celebrities led by The Office’s Rainn Wilson, made a tribute video to the resilient young man in which they lip-synced Sobiech’s moving song.

"It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our son Zachary David Sobiech," his family said in a statement obtained by the Today Show. "Our family has been blessed not only by his amazing presence in our lives, but also by the love and support of our family and friends and by so many people in the community. In particular we'd like to thank those people who listened with their hearts and helped Zach bring his message and his music to the world."

Sobiech’s surviving family, which includes his parents Rob and Laura, and siblings Alli, Sam and Grace, asks that all memorials be offered to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund. All donations will be sent to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund on Sobiech’s behalf.

April Macie Claims Lance Armstrong Asker Her To Perform Lewd Sex Act

April Macie, the American stand-up comedian, said on a visit to the Howard Stern Show that Lance Armstrong, the disgraced professional cyclist, once asked her to perform a lewd sex act on him.

Macie, who’s a regular visitor on the shock jock’s show, claimed that she and a friend had been partying with Armstrong at an L.A. club before going back to his room at the Peninsula hotel for an after party. When she made the mistake of paying a visit to the bathroom, Macie was in for a bit of a shock.

"I went to use the bathroom, and I went in and Lance was bent over a bathtub and she was just face deep in his a--hole...I was terrified. And then he came out and said: ‘Does your friend want in on a round too?’ and I was like: 'Of taint tickling? I’m gonna take a pass'…I think it’s hilarious that he would ask without even knowing my first name—to eat his a--hole. Like: ‘Do you want in on a round too? Of a--hole eating?...I got pretty for the evening. I didn’t know he was going to ask me to eat his a--hole later on.”

The incident, which according to Macie occurred five or sex years ago, took place before the athlete was beleaguered by doping accusations. After mounting evidence backed Armstrong into a corner, he finally admitted that he had doped for years this past January.

‘Bates Motel’ Season Finale Recap: Romero Earns Norma’s Trust, Miss Watson Ends Up Dead

Bates Motel, the A&E drama based off of Alfred Hitchcock thriller Psycho, concluded its first season last night in a finale that leaves Norman’s teacher Miss Watson (Keegan Connor Tracy) dead in a pool of her own blood.

In its penultimate episode, Bates Motel saw Norma (Vera Farmiga) threatened by Jake Abernathy (Jere Burns), who was demanding the $150,000 he suspected her of stealing from Keith. This week, Norma seeks the help of Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell), who promises to take care of the situation. Still wary, Norma looks into getting a gun, while Romero’s investigation leads him Keith's sister Maggie. He finds out that Abernathy had threatened her just as he had Norma.

After finding the $150,000 in a garage, Romero vows to keep quiet about Maggie’s involvement in the prostitution ring that stretches up the east coast if she doesn’t talk about his investigation. Romero then pulls up in his car to meet with Abernathy, bringing along the bag of cash. Abernathy asks for Norma, who had hidden behind a stack of boxes once she heard Romero approaching. Romero cuts him off, offering to let it slide if he gives him 50% of the profits before shooting him dead. Coolly, Romero then shifts his gaze over to where Norma was hiding, and says, “You can go home now, Norma. I said trust me.”

Meanwhile, Norman (Freddie Highmore) goes into Miss Watson’s office to let her know that he doesn’t want to publish his story, only to walk in on his teacher engaging in a heated phone conversation with some guy named Eric. After promising Miss Watson that he won’t repeat what he heard, he’s forced to deal with Bradley’s (Nicola Peltz) rejection. Ultimately, he comes around to the idea of bringing Emma (Olivia Cooke) to the dance, but the arrangement goes far from smoothly.

Just before Norman is about to leave for the dance, Norma decides it’s a good time to have an intense heart-to-heart. She reveals to her teenage son that she was raped by her brother from the time she was 13 until he moved out of the house. So, with that sendoff, Norman ends up being a pretty distant date – causing Emma to storm off when she repeatedly catches him staring in the direction of Bradley. He’s not without company for long though, as Bradley’s boyfriend then marches over and punches him square in the face.

After the blow to the head, Norman begins to walk home when he’s spotted by Miss Watson who offers to give him a ride. Instead of taking him directly back to Bates Motel, she brings him to her home to clean up his injuries and change. While she’s changing, Norman watches and begins to hallucinate that his mother is telling him that Miss Watson is trying to seduce him. Next thing you know, Norman is sprinting back home through the rain, arriving at the house the same time as his mother.

The final scene shifts back to Miss Watson’s apartment, where she lies dead on the floor with her throat slit. Was it Norman? Or, could it have been Eric? If Norman did it, does he even remember? Bates Motel will return with an answer and its second season in 2014.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Recap: Final Four Dance For The Win

Dancing With the Stars' last four remaining celebrity contestants Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones, Aly Raisman and Zendaya Coleman each danced three dances on Tuesday night. The three dances included a judges’ pick, a “cha cha relay” and a “super sized” freestyle routine.

For the judges’ pick, Jacoby and Karina Smirnoff performed an energetic jive. It was good, but not great and the judges gave him 9’s all around. Aly and Mark Ballas were given a samba by the judges, and they all agreed that she’s improved since the last time she performed the dance. They received 29 points. The judges picked a quickstep for Kellie and Derek Hough, a dance for which they received 29 points the last time. Even ballroom stickler Len Goodman didn't have a complaint, and the country singer got a perfect score. Finally, Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiey took on a samba and also got a perfect score.

The cha cha relay had the four couples come out one right after the other, seamlessly taking over when the last one left off in the song. After they’d completed the relay the judges ranked them one through four: Jacoby and Karina, 4th; Aly and Mark, 3rd; Kellie and Derek, 2nd; Zendaya and Val, 1st.

Round three was the super sized free style part of the finale, and Jacoby and Karina went all out. Inspired by New Orleans and Mardi Gras, the couple were joined onstage by steppers and drummers. Again, the judges all gave him nine points. Mark decided to go daring with a routine revolved around a “vertical bar,” which meant they’d basically be pole dancing. The risk paid off as they were given a perfect score by the judges.

Next up, were Kellie and Derek who decided to replace elaborate production with an incredibly technical and emotional dance. Their stripped down contemporary routine was arguably the best performance of the night, earning them 30/30 with Goodman declaring that he’d have liked to have given them an 11. Zendaya and Val did a combination of cha cha, contemporary and hip-hop with a bunch of children as backup dancers. The also get 30/30.

At the end of the night, the standings placed Zendaya and Val in first with 1 point more than Kellie and Derek. Aly and Mark were in third with 61, followed by Jacoby and Karina in a distant fourth with 56 points.

Dancing With the Stars' results show airs tonight on ABC at 8/9c.

Jodi Arias To Address Jury Before They Decide Her Fate

Jodi Arias, who was convicted of first-degree murder in the slaying of her boyfriend Travis Alexander earlier in the month, will address the jury that will decide her sentencing on Tuesday.

After the jury found her guilty of first-degree murder, they also ruled that her murder of Alexander, which included nearly 30 stab wounds, was “exceptionally cruel.” She had also shot him in the face and slit his throat from ear to ear.

By stating that Arias’s murder was “exceptionally cruel,” the jury established that she is eligible for the death penalty. In order for Arias to be officially sentenced with the death penalty, the jury’s decision would have to be unanimous. If after deliberations it appears as though the jury is in a deadlock, a new jury can be selected for the sentencing phase of the trial.

If the jury declines to sentence Arias to the death penalty, Judge Sherry Stephens will decide whether to sentence Arias to life in prison without the possibility of parole, or life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years behind bars.

Arias, who will give her statement to the jury at 12:30 p.m. ET today, declared that she would find life behind bars unbearable in an interview immediately after her conviction. "I said years ago that I'd rather get death than life, and that still is true today," she told Phoenix television station KSAZ. "I believe death is the ultimate freedom, so I'd rather just have my freedom as soon as I can get it."

Ray Manzarek, The Doors' Keyboardist, Dies At 74

Ray Manzarek, who served as The Doors founding keyboardist, died after an enduring battle with cancer on Monday in Germany, his publicist confirmed in a statement. He was 74.

Manzarek met Jim Morrison on Venice Beach in California on a chance encounter, and eventually founded The Doors in 1965, which went on to include drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robby Krieger The iconic American rock band achieved worldwide success, selling 100 million albums and earning multiplatinum status in the U.S. for five of their records.

Although frontman and lyricist Morrison died in 1971, Manzarek and the other two surviving members continued to play as a group for two more years. In later years, Manzarek and Krieger continued to keep the music alive, touring together under their individual names but performing solely Doors songs. The Doors were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.

"I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek today," said Krieger. "I'm just glad to have been able to have played Doors songs with him for the last decade. Ray was a huge part of my life and I will always miss him."

In his post-Doors days, Manzarek also went on to produce the Los Angeles punk band X.

Manzarek is survived by his wife Dorothy, his son Pablo, brothers Rick and James, and three grandchildren.

'Game Of Thrones' Recap: Tyrion Marries Sansa, Dany’s Army Grows

Game of Thrones “The Honeymooners” had a narrower focus than some of the previous episodes this season, focusing almost exclusively on the storylines of Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and the young Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).

It started off in the woods with Arya awakening and wielding a large rock with which she plans to bludgeon her captor, The Hound (Rory McCann). He opens his eyes before she can strike him and says, “I'll give you one try, girl. Kill me and you're free. But if I live, I'll break both your hands." Wisely deciding not to try her luck, she drops the rock. As it turns out, The Hound doesn’t wish to harm the youngest Stark daughter. Instead, he plans to return her to her mother (Michelle Fairley) and brother Robb (Richard Madden) at her uncle's wedding to the Frey girl in exchange for a sum.

Outside the Yunkai walls, Daenerys continues to search for a way inside. The Yunkai have hired the Second Sons, a sellsword company whose numbers and capabilities would make it significantly more difficult for her to take the city. She arranges a meeting with their leader, Titan’s Bastard. Much as his moniker would seem to indicate, he’s a rude and crass individual that after comparing her to a prostitute he once knew, requests a full view of her naked body to see if she’d be worth fighting for. Daario, one of his lieutenants, already looks taken by The Dragon Queen.

When the Second Sons return to their tent, they debate the pleasures of whoring. Daario reveals himself to be opposed to paying for sex, preferring to sleep with women who want to have sex with him. He also avers that he fights only for beauty, and thus, only when he so desires. After Titan’s Bastard insists that they draw coins to decide who will slip into Dany’s camp to murder her, it’s Daario who draws the coin to kill. He arrives while Dany is bathing, and holds her translator Missandei with a knife at her throat. After they both promise not to scream, he releases her and reveals the heads of both of his superiors. Apparently, Daario was won over by her beauty and took it upon himself to pledge the Second Sons loyalty to her.

At King’s Landing, Tyrion makes a well-intentioned effort to comfort Sansa (Sophie Turner) about their pending nuptials, after sending a disgruntled Shae out of the room. "I didn't ask for this ... you won't be a prisoner after today, you will be my wife." Then he adds, "I suppose that's a different kind of prison." Meanwhile, Cersei (Lena Headey) and Margaery (Natalie Dormer) walk amiably arm-in-arm in the Sept of Baelor. Margaery, feeling unduly comfortable and confident with the steely Lannister woman, suggests that the marriages to come will make them sisters of a certain kind. After creating a horrifying parallel between the Tyrell’s and the last second-richest family to grasp for greater power, Cersei seethes, “You ever call me sister again, I’ll have you strangled in your sleep.” Margaery looks appropriately frightened.

The wedding that follows is all manners of awkwardness. First of all, the evil-veined Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), who had Sansa’s father killed, takes the role of jauntily walking her down the aisle. He then swipes Tyrion’s stool, thereby forcing him to whisper at Sansa to ask her to kneel so he could place the marriage cloak over her shoulders. At the reception that follows, Tyrion is embracing the label of a drunkard, sloshing wine about in his goblet. Tywin (Charles Dance) approaches him to remind him that he needs to put a child into Sansa, and shouldn’t be too drunk to perform.

As if it couldn’t get any worse, Joffrey, after threatening to rape Sansa when Tyrion’s asleep, declares that there must be a public bedding ceremony. Tyrion’s response? He drives a knife into the table and threatens his king nephew, shouting, “Then you’ll be f—king your own bride with a wooden c—k.“ Thankfully, Tywin is there to defuse Joffrey, and Tyrion is sensible enough to concede it was nothing by a silly joke by his impish drunk uncle who's not so well-endowed. When Tyrion and Sansa do walk off to the bedchamber, the 14-year-old begins to disrobe. It appears as though Tyrion considers obliging his father’s wishes, but the better man inside him wins out. "I won't share your bed ... not until you want me to," Tyrion says. When Shae (Sibel Kekilli) comes the next morning with breakfast and to take the sheets, she smirks when she realizes they’re clean.

Meanwhile, Stannis (Stephen Dillane) contemplates the murder of Robert’s bastard Gendry (Joe Dempsie), and allows Melisandra (Carice van Houten) to seduce the young man with food, wine and sex. After she straps him to the bed she subjects him to blood-letting by leaches. However, it appears as though the ill treatment will stop there, as a visit to Davos (Liam Cunningham) in the dungeons convinces Stannis against killing his nephew by blood. The would-be king also decides to release Davos. And, North of the Wall, the hapless Samwell (John Bradley) is put to the test when a White Walker threatens Gilly (Hannah Murray) and her baby. When his sword crumbles in the White Walker’s hands who continues on for the inbred baby, Sam chases after him with a shard of dragonglass and jabs it into the creatures back. The White Walker splinters like ice.

Game of Thrones will return Sunday, June 2 on HBO at 9/8c with its penultimate episode of the season.

Will Ferrell And Chirstina Applegate Film ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’

Anchorman: The Legend Continues has a new teaser trailer that gives a sneak peak of the upcoming sequel to the 2004 comedy starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn, David Koechner and others.

In this latest promo spot, a voice is heard saying, “Jesus. MacArthur. Jay-Z. The great ones always return. And when they do, one thing is for sure. They're hair will be perfect." And then, the infamous Ron Burgundy, alongside the rest of the cast of characters of Channel 4 News, comes on screen with a snappy sound bite about the movie.

“We haven’t seen you in awhile, America, you haven’t changed a bit,” says Burgundy. At the end of the promo, looking directly into the camera, he adds, “Hey, fat face, you! Stay classy.”

Anchorman: The Legend Continues, which is due in theaters on Dec. 20, will also star newcomers Kristen Wiig and Harrison Ford.

Texting Likely Cause Of First-Time Driver’s Fatal Accident

Savannah Nash, a 16-year-old first-time driver, was believed to have been texting when she got into a fatal accident with a tractor-trailer on Thursday, according to authorities.

Nash had asked her parents if she could drive to the local grocery store in Harrisonville, Mo., to pick up groceries for the night’s dinner. On her way to the store, she crashed her vehicle into a tractor-trailer, and died at the scene according to WAFB-TV.

She had apparently turned left into the path of the truck, according to investigators. Investigators also said that they found an unsent message on Nash’s cell phone and conjecture that it may have caused the accident, reported the Democrat- Missourian newspaper.

“There was a text message that was on her phone, however it was not sent yet,” Sgt. Bill Lowe of the Missouri state Highway Patrol told Fox4KC.com. “That is a probable contributing circumstance to the crash. That’s all part of the investigation.”

There was a vigil for Nash on Friday that took place at Harrisonville High School, where she was a freshman honor roll student.

Gillian Anderson Turned Down Role In ‘Downton Abbey’

Gillian Anderson, the X-Files actress who’s been named "Sexiest Woman Alive" by FHM magazine, turned down a role in Masterpiece Theatre hit Downton Abbey because she didn’t want to be far from her family.

"My 18-year-old cannot believe that I would turn down Game Of Thrones or Downton — things she loves to watch,” she told the Mail Online. “But if I am going to be spending that amount of time working on something I would rather be working with a director like Martin Scorsese."

Anderson stars in BBC Two drama, The Fall, as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson. The character isn’t too much of a stretch for Anderson, who made a name for herself playing FBI Agent Dana Scully on the X-Files. Of her new law enforcement character the actress says, “If Stella finds a man attractive, she doesn’t hesitate to make the first move. I quite like that in a woman, I’ve discovered. I like the way Stella is so sexually confident but there are consequences to that, as you’ll see over the serial.

"She’s much more feminine than Scully ever was," she added.

Although Anderson has nothing but positive things to say about her new project, The Fall was almost another casualty of her selectivity. After parts in the BBC adaptation of Great Expectations and Lady Dedlock in Bleak House, she’d yet to take on a lengthy commitment since X-Files because of her children. When she saw that Prime Suspect 2 writer Allan Cubbit was behind it and had penned it with her in mind, she brokered a deal with producers that would allow her to return home each weekend during filming.

The Fall, after attracting over 3.5 million viewers in its first week, is already planning to have a sophomore season.

Stefon Marries Anderson Cooper During Bill Hader’s Final 'Saturday Night Live' Show

Bill Hader’s Stefon character, the flamboyand New York City nightlife correspondent who frequented the Weekend Update desk, rushed off to marry Anderson Cooper during the Saturday Night Live veteran's final evening on the NBC improv show.

While Stefon was chatting with Seth Meyers and the returning Amy Poehler, he got visibly exasperated. Meyers was trying to get Stefon, who had gone rogue with his time on the air, back on topic. “You know what, you don’t respect me, Seth,” he spat as he ran off the set. After seeing Meyers struggling to choke out his news commentary, Poehler suggests he follow him.

Meyers arrives at the church and screams, “Stefon!” Stefon, Cooper and all the zany characters Stefon has mentioned over the years turn around. When Cooper tries to pull his 360 move, Meyers punches him square in the face. He then grabs Stefon by the hand and they run out of the church – but not before saying “hi” to DJ Baby Bok Choy.

Hader announced last week that he would be leaving Saturday Night Live after eight-year’s on its 30 Rock stage.
