About Uinterview.com
Think of Uinterview.com as a virtual townhall–where every day the topic is our culture and the people who create it.
It's like an open-source magazine, except we've gotten rid of all the journalists and put you in charge of asking all the questions and suggesting the interview subjects and topics.
It's a radically democratic experiment that holds as its central thesis that you, the fans–the general public–know more about our culture than the professional journalists who now shape the public discourse.
So how does it work? In every section, you'll see a Coming Next box, which indicates who we will be interviewing, with pop-up forms for submitting your questions. For our video section, your question needs to be in video form. Once we've received all the questions that have been submitted, our editors will carefully sort through the submissions and pick the best ones to ask. Don't be discouraged if your question isn't selected, you'll have plenty of opportunities to try again. The best way to have your question selected is simply to ask a good one.
